-La Payetsa es un instrumento musical de origen vaqueiro (asturiano) para acompañar los bailes. Está hecho con una sartén de hierro, de 25cm de diámetro y con mango largo para poder acercarla al fuego con comodidad (Del lat. patella, padilla, sartén donde se servía lo cocinado). Junto col pandeiro cuadrao y la pandereta, es uno de los instrumentos vaqueiros tocados solo por mujeres.
La llave es también de hierro con la que se golpea la base y el mango marcando el ritmo.

-The Payetsa is a musical instrument of Vaqueiro (Asturian) origin used to accompany dances. It is made from a 25cm diameter iron pan with a long handle so it can be easily held near the fire (from the Latin patella, padilla, a pan where cooked food was served). Along with the square pandeiro and the tambourine, it is one of the Vaqueiro instruments played only by women.
The key is also made of iron, and is used to strike the base and handle to mark the rhythm.
